Where can I view public records for free?

Every site that you go to wants money. If they are public records for everyone to view, how can they charge for them. I would like to know if anyone has found a site that is actually free.

  1. Normally, your county comptrollers site.. so go to your local government online. Mnay states have privacy acts that prevent online viewing, however, you can request records for pretty cheap.

  3. For actual court cases youll need either the courthouse if you will rarely find source online for actual court cases youll need either the subject and it generally costs five bucks you want police records youll need either the name.
